The curtain is about to rise on the new Hutchinson Center for the Arts. But we need YOUR help. Our first fund-raiser, Night of the Arts, will be June 11 – and we need a committe of volunteers to help plan, set up and run this evening of art, dinner, auctions, raffles and dancing.
We need help in various ways – on all committees and from people of all talents – (or not – no talent required to help out). Committees include Marketing, Invitations, Clerical, Set-up and Tear Down, Advertising, Auction, Entertainment, Tickets and more. You can donate 4 hours of time or 40 – depending on your availability and schedule. We also need regular vollunteers, all year long, helping run the art gallery, planning new art shows and other events.
While raising money for charity is hard work – I promise you this will be FUNraising!
Meetings will be light-hearted and fun. I will even feed you!!! There will also be social get-togethers and parties just for committee members!
Our next committee meeting/work session is set for Tuesday, April 19 at 6 p.m. at the new Hutchinson Center for the Arts office and art gallery at 28 Main St. N. in downtown Hutch. (Please come anytime if you can’t make it at 6)

Tell us where your interests lie, and you can get started volunteering even before the next committee meeting.
You can email questions to [email protected] Our office at 28 Main St. N. in downtown Hutchinson, are not open regular hours as of yet. The Grand Opening of the office and gallery is April 30 from 11 – 3. The public is invited to explore the new gallery that afternoon.
If you absolutely cannot meet in the evening – that’s ok too. There is plenty of work that needs to be done during the day, on our own and as a group. If you are willing to help us – we are willing to work around your schedule. Email us your available times and we’ll work around your schedule.
