For PRCE partnering with the center allows the community to offer a more robust program to our community. The financial support the City provides the Center allows the Center to leverage additional resources to develop arts programming for all age groups.
PRCE serves as the “playground” for the arts and a facilitator to arts programs and advocates. What does that relationship look like?
We hope we are able to serve in that facilitator capacity to strengthen art delivery services. We believe this approach will help broaden the community audience and provide more opportunities
than we would achieve by ourselves. This model also lets individuals, groups and organizations do what they are most passionate about.
PRCE has extensive programming- geocaching, special events, river rentals, educational programs for youth, seniors, and adults, etc. How does Hutchinson Parks, Recreation, Community Education keep all ages involved and interested?
Our hope is to provide programs and services that meet community needs. The diversity of programming experiences keep participates engage through life-long learning. Periodic interest surveys are conducted to measure customer satisfaction and identifying unmet needs. We also engage the PRCE Advisory Council, Senior Advisory Council and Youth Associations to monitor program interest.
