The youngest performers to ever take the stage at the Hutchinson Center for the Arts Open Mic Nights played “I Want You to Want Me” by Cheap Trick Friday night. Joey Young on cajon, Kassyl Wilson as vocals, Ethan Beffert on guitar, with support from Jason Schooler on Bass and with direction from music teacher Stacy Halter, rocked the house and received a standing ovation from the 75 people who attended this, the first Open Mic Night at the art center’s new location.
Open Mic Nights are held the fourth Friday of every month at 7 p.m.
