The Executive Director for the Hutchinson Area Chamber of Commerce has discovered he has talent – artistic talent! With help from watercolor artist Joyce Young, Corby created an abstract watercolor painting for the first benefit for the Hutchinson Center for the Arts – Night of the Arts – Saturday, June 11 at the McLeod County Fairgrounds.

When naming the piece, Young and Corby discovered the abstract painting looked good both horizontally displayed, and vertical.
“We were all done and realized it looks good both ways, and it will depend what space it fills in a room, and also the mood: hot and exciting or cool and relaxing. It works! Buyers Choice,” Young said.
So they gave the painting two names:
“Sunset On The Crow” – horizontal
“Liquid Glass” – vertical
