CREATIVE STATION JUNE 18 & 19|10:30 – Noon| Ages 5 – 7
An ACTIVE studio class. Kids will have the chance to explore and play with a variety of art concepts including; movement, music, sculpture, and painting. This lively class is perfect for high energy kids who love to move their bodies, explore new ideas, and play with materials. $30 not yet members/ $20 members. Maximum of 15 Creatives
GARDEN PARTY JUNE 20 & 21|10:30 – Noon| Ages 5 – 8
Let the garden be your inspiration as you create nature themed projects including; decorating the garden patch and the perennial favorite, a be-jeweled cement stepping stone. This class is ideal for children who love to craft. $40 not yet members/ $30 members Maximum 15 Garden Artists
We are bringing back the very popular BIG HEAD class from last Fall. Now is your chance if you missed out or want to experience it again. Kids will make a GIANT paper mache’ head and work on smaller decorative masks. Kids who think BIG and like to get messy will enjoy this sculpture class. $45 not yet members/$35 members Maximum 12 Sculptors
Puppet Making | June 25 & 26 | 10:30 – Noon | Ages 6 -11
Make your own puppets from a variety of found and recycled materials. Kids will trace, cut, glue, sew, and decorate their very own puppets. They’ll discovers how to bring their creations to life by playing fun improv games. $40 not yet members/ $30 members Maximum 12 puppeteers
Learn the art of stained glass from beginning to end. Each student will complete a stained glass project of easy to moderate difficulty. Class size is kept small. Students will be working with tools and sharp glass. This is an ideal class for mature students who have strong attention to detail. $55 not yet members/ $45 members Maximum 8 glass artisans
Explore a variety of printmaking techniques including: reductive printmaking, image transfers and some URBAN printmaking (capturing prints from urban/street textures.) Participants will also spend time making their own paper! This class is designed for kids who have some art experience, love detail, and enjoy focusing longer attention on projects and ideas. $45 not yet members/ $35 members Maximum 12 printmakers
ART MACHINES | JULY 16 & 17 | 10:30 – Noon | Ages 7 and older
Spend 2 days inventing and building your own machine that can paint and draw! Gears, gizmos, and lots of found objects will be transformed into machines that splatter and splash paint. This class is ideal for kids who like to invent, build, and tinker. Led by Ridgewater College Art Instructor Andrew Nordin. $40 not yet members/ $30 members Maximum 10 designers
Working together in teams/small groups to create a movie using green screen technology and ipads. Students will develop a theme and make props and sets to create their own magical worlds. Led by Ridgewater College Art Instructor Andrew Nordin. $50 not yet members/ $40 members

To cancel a registration, please contact the Art Center at least one week prior to the class. You will be issued a full refund.
If you cancel a registration less than a week prior to the class, you are entitled to a full credit that can be applied toward any Art Center class. Please note that this has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for any other Art Center merchandise or services.
