GARDEN PARTY ages 5 – 8 FULL Let the garden be your inspiration as you create nature themed projects including the perennial favorite, a bejeweled cement stepping stone. This class is ideal for children who love to craft. Led by Park Elementary Art Teacher Melissa Ovadje.

POP ART- SOFT SCULPTURE ages 8 – 11 Learn about Pop Art by exploring the works of artists like Andy Warhol and the famous Spoon Bridge and Cherry by Claus Oldenburg. Then design, stitch, and sew your own Pop Art Soft Sculpture of your favorite everyday thing. This class is ideal for kids who love to learn about art, invent, craft, and have BIG imaginations. Led by Park Elementary Art Teacher Melissa Ovadje.

STOP ANIMATION Ages 9 and older FULL Bring your stories to life. Kids will work with a variety of apps such as Brushes and Sketchbook Express which allows layers to be put into artwork. The class will also cover Stop Motion Animation and animated drawings with apps like iMotion HD & Do Ink. A great class for gamers, kids who love comics, animation and technology. Led by New Century Academy art teacher Mark Curew.

YES, AND…. Ages 13 and older Are you ready to improv? Yes, and we are too! This is an introductory class exploring the basics of improv. Students will practice ensemble and play, object exploration, character work, and scene creation. Improvers will perform a fully improvised show on June 14th at 7:00pm before No Lines Improv Troupe. Led by No Lines Improv Founder, Haley Jacobsen. Enroll by May 29th to receive t-shirt *All students must be able to perform June 14th.

STAINED GLASS Ages 13 and older Learn the art of stained glass from beginning to end. Each student will complete a stained glass project of easy to moderate difficulty. Class size is kept small with the focus on having fun with stained glass and learning to do it well. All tools and materials provided. Students will be working with tools and sharp glass. This is an ideal class for mature students who have a strong attention to detail. Led by Park Elementary Art Teacher Melissa Ovadje.

PRINTMAKING II Ages 10 and older Work with a variety of printmaking techniques including; reductive printmaking and collographs. This class is designed for kids who have some printmaking or painting experience and want to learn more in-depth skills and techniques. Led by Park Elementary Art Teacher Melissa Ovadje.

CREATIVE STATION ages 5 – 8 An ACTIVE studio class for younger children. Kids will have the chance to explore and play with a variety of materials and art concepts including movement, music, sculpture, and painting. This lively class is perfect for high energy kids who love to move their bodies, explore new ideas, and enjoy building, crafting and making. Led by Park Elementary Art Teacher Melissa Ovadje.

PUBLIC ART Ages 12 and older Make your artistic mark on the community! Develop, create, and install a collaborative painting project that will be on public display in the community through August. A great class for kids who want to expand their art experiences, meet new friends, and enjoy socializing. Led by Park Elementary Art Teacher Melissa Ovadje.
